Ottawa is the capital of Canada, the fourth-largest city in Canada and the sixth, in terms of standards of life, in the world. Ottawa, located in the confluence of three rivers, from time immemorial, was the place of meetings, negotiations and conclusions of commercial transactions for the North American Indians. On December 31, 1857, Queen Victoria appointed Ottawa the capital of Canada, preferring this small town in those days to Quebec and Ontario.

Climate in Ottawa:

Ottawa has a humid continental climate. Winter lasts from December to mid-March, but sometimes freeze continues even until May. The average daily temperature is of -5 ° C but sometimes is lower than-20C.

Summer lasts from mid-May to mid-September, the average temperature in the beginning of summer is of +25 C, and from mid-July to late August usually rises above +30 C.
